More than 50 Shore It Up volunteers marched to Puerto Galera & took part with one of the biggest underwater clean ups ever done just a stones throw away from the center of the center of marine biodiversity. Over 700 kilos of debris were collected while various teams ended the weekend sharing various ideas & plans with timetables how to further provide local fishing communities alternative sources of livelihood which will contribute in protecting & curbing the depletion of our ‘finite’ marine resources.

RAGS II Dive Trip – Coron / Apo Reef

Our latest Ouga Chaka Dive Safari Adventure on RAGS II took us around the Island of Mindoro from La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre, Puerto Galera to Maestra de Campo to Tablas Island to Cobrador Island to Boracay and then to Apo Reef for a total of 6 days of fantastic diving.

On Board this Trip were, Donno, Papa Mark, Buddy Tim, Snake, Bad Dave Pat & Mick We completed 17 dives in total on our trip, there was a combination of Technical and Recreational diving to allow us to get the most from the wreck diving, cave diving and wall

La Laguna Beach Club and Dive Centre was constructed in 1992 and is a boutique resort hotel with 39 rooms offering accommodation in a landscaped tropical garden setting. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, DVD player, electronic safes, refrigerator and well-appointed bathrooms with modern comforts including hot water.

The resort has a variety of 41 well appointed single, double, family and suite rooms situated around the pool or right on the beachfront. All offer air-conditioning and mini bar, cable TV, WiFi internet and bathrooms with modern comforts including hot water.

There are 6 family rooms available, consisting of 1 double bed and a set of bunk beds. (Extra beds and mattresses available.)
